What is a Land Charge?

Land Charges are entries listed at the Land Charges Department of the Land Registry relating mostly to unregistered land.

Examples are Annuities, Deeds of Arrangements, Writs or Orders and Pending Actions. Our land charge services are limited to the supplying of official copies of such entries.

These searches are very specialised and in order to complete the application form very specific information is required. If you do not have this information the chances are that you are applying for the wrong search.
