Land Title Register

The Land Title Register is one of the
2 main documents proving ownership and
providing details of property owned by
a person or company (often called Title
Deeds or Title Certificates).
It contains the Lot Number, Address and
description of the property, its tenure,
the manner in which the property is held
(i.e. tenants in common or joint tenants)
and the respective shares of each owner,
the name and address of the owners, details
of mortgages and other Limitations, Interests,
Encumbrances and Notifications.
The Survey Plan / Strata Plan is the other main document
of title and shows an outline of the property
and those adjoining it, so that the property
can be identified in relation to those
nearby.
It usually contains survey dimensions
and angles and may also contain other
information such as floor plans and surveyors
certificates.

certificates.
There are a number of different types
of Survey Plan / Strata Plan and the information provided
varies between them. Only one form of
Survey Plan / Strata Plan is registered against a property
and it is this registered Survey Plan / Strata Plan that
we provide.
